Welsh Lamb Club logo The Welsh Lamb Club aims to tap into the consciousness of those who appreciate the finer things in life.

Good food is one of those things. There’s nothing better than to sit down for a meal lovingly prepared by an expert chef who is at the top of his game. And there’s nothing better than premium quality Welsh Lamb.

That’s why the Welsh Lamb Club was set up. Launched by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales at Clarence House, the club has attracted some of the finest chefs and restaurants in the country – more than 50 of them are in London alone.

These include establishments with such well-known chefs as Tom Aikens, Anthony Demetre, Richard Corrigan, Cyrus Todiwala, Mark Hix and Bryn Williams to name but a few.

Consumers appreciate the quality and taste of Welsh Lamb, and like the fact that Welsh sheep are free to roam the green hills and mountains of Wales.

It is that natural and wholesome element that has led to Welsh Lamb being awarded Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status by the European Commission, setting it on the same level as other world brands including Italy’s Parma Ham and France’s Champagne.

There is no doubt that consumers are becoming more knowledgeable about food and more sophisticated in their tastes. They demand the best, which is why Welsh Lamb features so prominently in a growing number of leading restaurants, not only in London but across the UK and even as far afield as Germany, Barbados and Hong Kong.
