Competitions

Welsh Lamb and Welsh Beef both have the EU's coveted Protected Geogrpahical Indication (PGI). This means that only sheep and cattle born and reared in Wales can be called Welsh. This protects these unique products from imitations. Many countries across the EU also have PGI status ranging from meat, pastries and drinks.

This month we are offering one lucky winner the chance to win £50 of PGI Welsh Lamb and Welsh Beef. To win simply answer the following question by the 23rd May 2010:

Kainuun Rönttönen is pie filled with mashed potatoes and lingonberries that also has PGI status.

23/5/10 But which country does it come from?

Clues to help you answer the question can be found on this website.

The deadline for answers is the 23rd May 2010.
